I love gloomy Saturday mornings, right before a storm.




Remember when I halved the blue cheese chive drop biscuit recipe and then forgot to add half the buttermilk? 

I do. 

Fortunately, I whipped up the other half of the dry ingredients, added some more cheese & chives and they turned out all right.


Got the recipe from Smitten Kitchen, one of my favorite food bloggers.

The best part about these biscuits was the fact that I traipsed out to the garden behind the house I share with nine girls and picked the chives fresh.


And then my roommate, Sarah, contributed some delicious eggs and fresh mango and strawberries to the mix.

By the way, these biscuits are sponsored by Hannah, my other roommate, who happened to have blue cheese in the frig. I'll replace it eventually.


I left some for my lovely roommates to enjoy, and whoever else might stop by...
